Role Description The Interior Designer will work full time on-site at Theory Design Studio in Surat, collaborating with the design team to develop concepts, layouts, and detailed drawings for residential and commercial projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include space planning, selecting materials and finishes, preparing mood boards and presentations, and coordinating FF&E selections with suppliers. The role involves creating and revising construction drawings, conducting site visits to monitor progress, and working closely with contractors to ensure design intent and quality standards are met. The Interior Designer will communicate regularly with clients, gather requirements, present design proposals, and support project documentation from concept through completion.

Qualifications Proficiency in Interior Design and Space Planning to create functional, aesthetically aligned layouts. Knowledge of Architecture and Construction Drawings for translating design concepts into accurate technical documentation. Experience with FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) selection, specification, and coordination with vendors. Strong skills in design software (e.g., Auto CAD, Sketch Up, Revit, or similar) and presentation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Power Point). Attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects, and strong organizational and time-management skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration. Relevant diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; prior studio or site experience is an advantage. Willingness to work on-site in Surat and occasionally visit project locations as required.
