Technical Business Analyst

We are working with a leading alternative asset manager seeking a well-rounded Technical Business Analyst to focus on system enhancement delivery, management, and support. The ideal candidate has strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, can work independently, and communicates clearly with both business and technology stakeholders.

Primary ResponsibilitiesProvide first-line IT support for Regulatory Compliance and Legal business systemsRun daily checks on automated feeds; identify and resolve errorsAssist business users with troubleshooting reports and identifying data issuesDeliver process and technology solutions aimed at increasing Regulatory Compliance and Legal process efficiencyCollect, review, and document business needs, requirements, user documentation, and process flows; coordinate design reviews; serve as a liaison between technology and business unitsPerform complex analysis projects and clearly articulate and present solutions, rationale, issues, and trade-offsProvide technical developers with the documentation needed to perform application builds and customizationsPerform data analysis and profiling activities; identify and resolve data gap and quality issuesCollaborate with data source and target system owners and subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify appropriate data resourcesPerform application configuration and manage system releases/upgradesDevelop and execute QA/test scripts
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business xzbcwsv Analyst within a financial institutionDemonstrated experience gathering, documenting, and translating business requirements into functional/technical specificationsStrong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work independently and manage competing prioritiesExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively between business and technology teamsAbility to produce clear documentation (process flows, user guides, technical requirements) for both business and technical audiences
