Job Description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Product Manager based in Germany.

As a Senior Product Manager, you’ll take end-to-end ownership of a strategic fintech product, from initial discovery and vision through MVP delivery, launch, and continued growth.
You’ll translate customer needs, market opportunities, and business priorities into a clear product strategy and actionable roadmap.
Working closely with engineering, design, QA, business stakeholders, customers, and external partners, you’ll lead cross-functional teams toward meaningful outcomes.
The role combines strategic thinking with hands‑on product management, including discovery, backlog prioritization, delivery, performance measurement, and optimization.
You’ll have a direct influence on products serving the rapidly evolving financial services ecosystem, with opportunities to work across areas such as payments, KYC/KYB, banking, and SaaS.
The environment is remote‑first, collaborative, and fast‑paced, giving you significant autonomy while encouraging transparent communication and continuous improvement.
You’ll play a key role in launching and scaling products that solve real customer problems while delivering measurable business value.

Accountabilities

  • Own the product lifecycle from discovery and planning through delivery, launch, optimization, and scaling.
  • Build, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, customer impact, product strategy, and technical feasibility.
  • Define product KPIs and measurable outcomes, monitor performance, and use qualitative and quantitative data to guide product decisions.
  • Lead product discovery through customer interviews, user research, competitor analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Build trusted relationships with customers, enterprise clients, business stakeholders, external partners, and senior leadership.

  • Present product strategy, roadmap, progress, and performance to senior stakeholders and leadership.
  • Lead cross-functional teams involving engineering, QA, design, analysts, and other specialists throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, technology providers, and third‑party integration partners when required.
  • Facilitate product planning sessions, sprint reviews, retrospectives, roadmap discussions, and other Agile ceremonies.
  • Ensure clear delivery visibility and transparency using tools such as Jira, Confluence, BigPicture, or comparable product management platforms.
  • Own release readiness and ensure that features meet defined acceptance criteria and deliver meaningful customer and business value.
  • Identify product and delivery risks early, develop mitigation strategies, and coordinate with compliance, regulatory, technical, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitor user behavior, feature adoption, activation, conversion, retention, and operational efficiency to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Drive product improvement initiatives based on data, customer feedback, and business performance.
  • Lead the development and launch of an MVP for a strategic KYC‑related product, establishing the foundation for future product growth and scaling.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience as a Product Manager in a product‑or‑technology‑driven organization.
  • Proven experience owning products end to end, from discovery and strategy through delivery, launch, and growth.
  • Demonstrated experience working directly with customers, enterprise clients, business stakeholders, and/or senior leadership.
