Akkodis is seeking a Sr Data Analyst for a Contract job with a client in Mclean VA . Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in the financial services industry .Sr Data AnalystJob location – Mclean VA -Hybrid – 3 days week(1st Preference)/Richmond VA- Hybrid- 2ndRate Range: $76/hour- $78/hr on w2(Nego) ; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Key technical skills: Python, SQL, Tableau, Google Slides, Cloud Code, and familiarity with Snowflake/Databricks.
AWS experience not required, but QuickSight is preferred; Spark is helpful but not mandatory.Position is hybrid, requiring 3+ days/week onsite, with McLean, VA as top location preference; Richmond as secondary.End date is December 31, 2027, with no current plans for extension or conversion to full-time.Team and Role ContextThe hiring team is part of the third line of defense in credit risk review, supporting 30+ internal customers and managing 10+ Data Analysts.Provides data analytics and self-service tools via monthly/quarterly dashboards and maintains a sandbox environment.Focus on data validation, identifying gaps, and independently managing analytical projects to meet deadlines.Preference for candidates with business/credit risk background, especially within Capital One.Required and Preferred Skills4+ years professional data analytics experience.Python and SQL proficiency, including ability to write complex queries.Tableau and QuickSight for reporting; Google Slides/Cloud Code familiarity needed.Independent project ownership expected — candidate should lead analyses without heavy coordination.Team player with quick learning ability; prior management or leadership experience is a plus.If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
