Superintendent - Heavy Civil Construction - Indianapolis, IN Metric Geo is confidentially partnered with a reputable contractor to identify an experienced Superintendent to join its team in Indianapolis. The search is focused on hands-on field leaders with a strong background in earthwork, underground utilities, and paving, ideally with experience delivering INDOT highway and roadway and other large scale projects. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day field operations across heavy civil projects. Manage crews, foremen, subcontractors, and equipment on site. Coordinate earthwork, underground utility installation, and paving activities. Ensure projects meet schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements. Work closely with Project Managers to drive productivity and control costs. Monitor materials, resources, and site progress to keep projects on track. Ideal Background Superintendent experience within heavy civil construction. Strong knowledge of earthwork, underground utilities, and paving. Previous experience on INDOT or DOT highway and roadway projects. Proven ability to lead field teams and deliver projects safely and efficiently.
