The individual in this role will prepare and review tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations, and assist with tax planning initiatives. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts, preparing and analyzing financial statements, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. The role also involves responding to client inquiries, gathering and organizing financial documentation, and collaborating with colleagues to resolve tax and accounting issues. 1. Position & Compensation Employment Type: Full-Time Pay Rate: Entry Level: $30.00 / hour Experienced: $45.00 / hour (Commensurate with experience and qualifications)
2. Key Responsibilities Bookkeeping and monthly/quarterly financial statement preparation (QuickBooks) Payroll processing and payroll tax filings Preparation of individual and corporate tax returns (Individual & Corporate) Client communication and correspondence with tax authorities (IRS, FTB, EDD, etc.)
3. Qualifications & Preferred SkillsBilingual Korean and English required due to frequent client communication in Korean\"As our firm handles cross-border advisory and Korean-American business clients\"Degree in Accounting or prior practical experience in a CPA firm preferredProficiency in QuickBooks and tax software (ProSeries, etc.) preferred
