Schedule: 3, 4, or 5 full days per weekBenefits: Available for employees working 30+ hours per weekNew Jersey Brain and Spine is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our established neurosurgery practice.We offer flexibility for candidates interested in working 4 or 5 full days per week. This is an outpatient position working collaboratively with our neurosurgeons and APP team to care for patients with a variety of brain and spine conditions.What We OfferFlexible schedule: 4 or 5 full days per weekHours: 8:30 AM–5:00 PMNo evenings, weekends, holidays, or callBenefits available for employees working 30+ hours per weekCollaborative physician and APP environmentEstablished specialty practiceResponsibilitiesEvaluate and manage new, follow-up, and post-operative patientsPerform histories and physicals and develop treatment plansOrder and review appropriate diagnostic testingProvide post-operative care, including incision checks, suture/staple removal, medication management, and VP shunt evaluation/adjustment as appropriateTriage patient calls and electronic communicationsPrescribe medications as clinically appropriateWork closely with physicians and other APPs to support patient care and clinic workflowQualificationsMaster’s degree in Nursing from an accredited programANCC or AANP board certificationActive New Jersey APN licenseNew Jersey CDS and DEA licensesBLS certificationPrior Nurse Practitioner experience preferred, particularly in neurosurgery, neurology, orthopedics, spine, or another xzbcwsv surgical specialtyWe are looking for a compassionate, clinically strong provider with excellent communication skills who enjoys working as part of a collaborative specialty practice.Benefits:401(k)Dental insuranceFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offReferral programRetirement planVision insuranceExperience:APN: 2 years (Preferred)License/Certification:APN (Required)Work Location: In person
