Growth-Oriented Developer

About the Role We're a multi-brand e-commerce operation (Amazon FBA/FBM + Shopify + other marketplaces) looking for a hands-on, AI-native developer to become our in-house AI-assisted development expert — someone who can take over and expand on what an outside agency currently does part-time, but faster, cheaper, and embedded with the team. This role is an individual contributor position today — we're looking for someone who wants to do the hands-on work directly — writing code, running tests, building automations — rather than someone looking to step into management right away. As the business and this function grow, there may be opportunities for the role to expand in scope and responsibility, but the immediate need is a strong hands-on contributor. This is not a traditional "Shopify dev" role and not a traditional "marketing automation" role — it's both, plus more. You'll work directly with leadership across e-commerce, growth, and finance/ops to build and ship things using AI-assisted coding tools as your primary toolkit, with real development fundamentals underneath so you know when the AI's suggestion is wrong. We're looking for someone who can credibly cover at least 3 of these 5 areas, with the appetite to grow into the rest:

• 1 Shopify storefront development — theme/Liquid work, custom account/login/checkout experiences, app evaluation and integration
• 2 A/B testing & CRO — designing and running structured tests on the storefront, layout/UX changes, drawing real conclusions from data
• 3 AI-driven automation — using AI coding assistants (and tools like n8n/Make where useful) to automate workflows: pricing logic fed from Odoo, finance/reporting tasks, customer service/returns workflows
• 4 Data & API integration — Shopify's API, Odoo, and other internal systems; understanding how data flows between them
