Role: Production Manager – Leather Jackets / Outerwear Location: Bangalore Company: Bhartiya International Ltd We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Production Manager to lead end-to-end manufacturing operations for our Leather Jackets division. The role requires strong technical expertise in leather garment production, large-scale factory operations management, productivity improvement, and people leadership . The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in managing high-volume leather jacket manufacturing units with strong exposure to industrial engineering, production planning, quality systems, and delivery management for international customer s. Key Responsibilit iesProduction Operations Managem entLead complete production operations for leather jackets across cutting, stitching, finishing, washing, and packing proces sesEnsure achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly production targets in line with shipment pl ansDrive production efficiency, line balancing, and capacity utilization across the fact oryMonitor productivity, absenteeism, DHU, rejection levels, and overall operational performa nce Factory & Workforce Manage mentManage large production teams including supervisors, line leaders, mechanics, and opera torsHandle operations of a 300 machine manufacturing s etupEnsure optimum manpower deployment and workforce discipline on the shop f loorDevelop second-line leadership and create a high-performance manufacturing cul ture Industrial Engineering & Product ivityWork closely with IE teams for SMV improvements, layout optimization, and bottleneck redu ctionImplement lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement prac ticesDrive efficiency enhancement programs to improve output and reduce operational l osses Quality & Comp lianceEnsure adherence to buyer quality standards and internal quality s ystemsMinimize rework, alteration, and rejection percentages through strong process co ntrolsCoordinate with QA teams to ensure right-first-time prod uctionEnsure compliance with safety, audit, and factory compliance sta ndards Planning & Delivery Man agementCoordinate with merchandising, planning, warehouse, and quality teams for smooth execution of ordersEnsure on-time order execution and shipment ad herenceMonitor WIP movement and proactively address production risks or delays Technical & Process Ex cellenceSupport product feasibility discussions and pre-production planningReview machine requirements, attachments, and process capabilities for ne w stylesDrive process standardization and best manufacturing practices acro ss lines Req uirement:12 years of experience in handling leather jacket OR outerwear manu facturingCandidate should be a Graduate / Diploma holder in Leather Technolo gy / NIFTShould have handled a minimum 300 machine manufactu ring unitStrong exposure to production planning, line balancing, quality, and productivity im provementShould be capable of managing large workforce and achieving production targets within timelinesCandidate should be ready to relocate to Bangalore H ow to ApplyInterested candidates can send th eir CV to: hartiya.comCompan y Website: hartiya.com
