Experience: 5 to 9 Years

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Project Manager to lead end-to-end ERP implementation projects across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in ERP transformation, a strong command of project management tools and methodologies, and exceptional leadership skills to drive successful delivery of large-scale, complex initiatives.

This role demands a hands-on leader who can effectively manage stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and vendors, while ensuring timely execution, quality outcomes, and strong client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning & Execution

• Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations using leading project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Asana, Smartsheet, etc.)

• Define clear project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with business goals.

• Monitor project progress, track KPIs, and ensure on-time, within-scope, and within-budget delivery.

2. ERP Implementation Leadership

• Lead end-to-end ERP implementations, from project initiation and requirements gathering to go-live and post-deployment stabilization.

• Drive continuous system improvement and optimization in collaboration with business and IT teams.

• Ensure adherence to ERP best practices and implementation frameworks.

3. Client & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations, communications, and relationships throughout the project lifecycle with professionalism, empathy, and maturity.

• Present project updates, milestones, risks, and outcomes to executive stakeholders in a timely and transparent manner.

• Partner with business leaders to ensure the solution meets strategic and operational needs while proactively identifying and escalating any potential risks or challenges that could impact delivery.

4. Cross-Functional Team Leadership

• Lead and coordinate internal teams, third-party vendors, consultants, and business stakeholders.

• Foster collaboration, accountability, and a culture of trust across technical, functional, and business workstreams.

• Provide strong, empathetic leadership, mentorship, and motivation to cross-functional teams, understanding team dynamics and supporting individuals through challenges while maintaining focus on project objectives.

• Guide teams through ambiguity, conflicts, and changing priorities with maturity and sound judgment, ensuring deliverables are achieved within agreed timelines and quality standards.

5. Change, Risk & Issue Management

• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and issues proactively, while demonstrating the judgment to recognize early warning signs before they escalate.

• Escalate critical project, people, or delivery concerns in a timely and transparent manner, working collaboratively with stakeholders to drive effective resolutions.

• Develop and execute risk mitigation and contingency plans.

• Support change management and training initiatives to facilitate user adoption and ensure teams are well-supported throughout the transformation journey.

6. Quality Assurance & Compliance

• Ensure ERP solutions meet defined business, functional, and technical requirements.

• Oversee quality assurance processes, testing strategies, validation, and compliance audits.

• Maintain documentation and governance standards throughout the project lifecycle.

7. Vendor & Partner Management

• Evaluate, select, and manage vendors and implementation partners to ensure performance alignment with project goals while fostering collaborative, long-term working relationships.

• Manage vendor contracts, deliverables, and escalation procedures effectively, addressing challenges with professionalism, diplomacy, and a solution-oriented approach.

8. Budget & Cost Management

• Develop and manage ERP project budgets, ensuring efficient utilization of resources.

• Track and report on project financials, variances, and ROI.

Requirements:

• 5-9 years of hands-on experience in managing end-to-end ERP implementation projects.

• Proven success in leading large-scale ERP deployments across multiple business units or geographies.

• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid, etc.).

• Strong understanding of ERP systems.

• Excellent client-facing, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the maturity to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.

• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, vendors, and partners in complex project environments through a collaborative, empathetic, and people-first leadership approach.

• Ability to proactively identify, communicate, and escalate project, delivery, or people-related risks before they impact outcomes, while effectively guiding teams towards successful resolution.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities, with the composure and resilience to navigate complex and high-pressure situations.

• A mature leadership style with the ability to coach, mentor, and motivate teams, fostering accountability, collaboration, and high performance while ensuring successful project delivery.

• Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or ERP system certifications (e.g., SAP Certified) are a plus.
