Quality Engineer

As a Quality Engineer, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of quality systems, improving supplier processes, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Under general supervision, you will contribute to the enhancement of internal manufacturing processes and provide essential engineering support to our Quality Labs. You must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.Core Responsibilities:Devise sampling procedures and develop forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.Assist in establishing programs to evaluate precision and accuracy of production equipment and testing facilities.Support the development and implementation of methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material, assessing cost and responsibility.Direct workers engaged in measuring and testing product quality and reliability, and tabulate data concerning materials, products, or process quality.Compile and write training material and conduct training sessions on quality control activities.Actively participate in continuous improvement and 5S activities.Utilize knowledge of systems such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA’s, and IATF16949 requirements (automotive background preferred).Possess proficient working knowledge of SPC and MSA.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university in a related field.1-3 years of related experience and/or training.Strong analytical problem-solving skills.Familiarity with DOE and methodical problem-solving processes, as well as the 7 tools of quality.Proficiency in basic geometric dimensioning and tolerance and advanced statistical techniques. xzbcwsv Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with others.
