This facility operates as a Level 1 Trauma Center providing comprehensive inpatient trauma surgery services across inpatient, OR, and ER settings. The hospital maintains established clinical protocols and dedicated staffing to support high-acuity trauma care. Locum tenens coverage is utilized to supplement the existing team and ensure continuity of trauma surgery services.

The physician associate will provide inpatient trauma surgery coverage during day shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM across inpatient, OR, and ER settings at a Level 1 Trauma facility, with no call responsibilities required. The clinician will manage trauma surgery cases on-site, working alongside a support team that includes 6 APPs and 6 MAs. Board certification is negotiable for this assignment, and prescriptive authority is required. Coverage is needed as soon as possible on an ongoing basis.
