Job Description: Job Title: Test Lead - FCD Location: India Role purpose Lead the data validation and testing team in defining and executing the data issues test strategies for the various projects · Primary objective will be managing the data testing team members across multiple value stream. Testing will involve building test cases, getting them reviewed and approved, conduct end to end testing and seek sign off. · Operate effectively in a fast-paced environment - continually assessing priorities, tracking progress, and adjusting approach to achieve outcomes. · Drive risk mitigation strategies, contingency planning, and business readiness assessments to ensure successful data issue remediation implementations · Report implementation progress, risks, and issues to senior management and governance forums. · Partner with program workstreams — including requirement, design, and delivery — to ensure successful transition of deliverables into BAU reporting · Collaborate with IT and external vendors to ensure technical deliverables meet business and regulatory expectations. · Engage with overall FINREP data lead to align on test strategies and remediated data issue delivery with clarity and accountability. · Define and implement comprehensive testing strategies, plans, and frameworks for FINREP data projects. · Partner with teams to ensure test coverage aligns with any BAU process and new controls/EuCs · Maintain high testing and documentation standards, ensuring governance and quality assurance throughout project delivery. · Lead the team to guarantee exit deliverables – completion of scripts, completeness of results, exit reports, etc. · Demonstrate strong, partnership decision-making and execution under tight deadlines. · Maintain oversight on testing, sign-offs, and audit deliverables to ensure compliance with internal and external controls. Experience Required: Proven stakeholder management skills · Proven management track record in dynamic environments, with the ability to manage teams with diverse backgrounds and skill sets, both locally and in- country and to maintain a global perspective. · Experience in delivering change within a services environment and an appreciation of regulatory and compliance imperatives. · Proven management track record in dynamic environments, with the ability to support and direct large teams with diverse backgrounds and skill sets, both locally and across regional sites and to maintain a global perspective. · Strong management, decision-making, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills including the ability to listen to and influence stakeholders at all levels, and to build consensus among a wide range of internal and external customers with conflicting priorities. · Ability to define a test approach/ scenarios / test cases and execute the test strategy for Regulatory systems/applications. · understanding of the HSBC data · Exposure to data sourcing, ETL processes, and conformance/common data layers. · Knowledge of automation testing tools · Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and communicate effectively across teams
