Geneva – Maintenance TechnicianMaintenance TechnicianLocation: Geneva, IL | Fully Integrated PlantPay: $35 – $45/hr + shift differential + incentive payWeekly payEligible for annual wage increases and additional increases based on performanceReferral bonus up to $2,000 per hireWith overtime, average annual earnings can exceed $85,000Shifts Available:2nd: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM3rd: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AMWeekend: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Job ResponsibilitiesDiagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of manufacturing equipment and plant systemsTroubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and utility issuesPerform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activitiesAdjust and install machinery, power, controls, and utilitiesUse hand tools and machine shop equipment (lathe, milling machine, drill press, welder, etc.)Create and document work orders, track parts, and log maintenance dataMaintain a safe work environment and follow all PPE requirements
Qualifications2+ years maintenance mechanic experience (manufacturing preferred)Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problemsTechnical training in mechanical/electrical systems; PLC knowledge preferredAbility to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and production specsStrong problem-solving and data entry skillsMust supply own toolsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredU.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (sponsorship not available)Able to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, stoop, and work overtime/weekends as needed
About the PlantThe Geneva, IL plant has been operating since 1960 and employs more than 265 people. As a fully integrated facility, we manufacture and decorate batteries for the automotive and marine industries. We operate six days per week and are proud to support our community through organizations like The Salvation Army.
