About the opportunityWe’re partnering with a well-established, growing manufacturer to find a Warehouse & Distribution Manager. This is a hands-on leadership role at the heart of the operation. You’ll own everything from inbound materials and inventory control through to shipping and delivery, and you’ll have the scope to shape how it’s done.

What you’ll be doingOverseeing end-to-end supply chain, warehouse, inventory and shipping operationsKeeping inventory accurate, including purchase orders, work orders, ERP transactions and full product traceabilityRunning cycle counts and physical inventory controls, with bin and storage location trackingCoordinating vendor movements, quality control, customer collections, freight and shipping documentationLeading and developing a team of 2–3 supply chain team members, 3–4 shippers and 1–2 truck drivers, and building a culture of accountability and performanceImproving processes, putting best practice in place and getting the most out of the ERP and other systems
What we’re looking for5–10 years’ experience in warehouse or distribution management, ideally within a manufacturing business (a larger organization is a plus)Proven experience with cycle count management, physical inventory controls, bin and location-based inventory management, and freight coordinationStrong ERP knowledge, ideally Global Shop Solutions, SAP or similarA track xzbcwsv record of building teams, improving processes and managing complex logisticsA hands-on leader who can hit the ground running, solve problems independently and deliver measurable improvementsMaster’s Degree and/or Six Sigma experience.
