• Manage day-to-day financial operations, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for the mining project.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management accounts, cash flow reports, and monthly financial performance reports.
• Monitor project expenditures, operating costs, capital expenditures (CAPEX), and operational expenses (OPEX) to ensure effective cost control.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, payment processing, and general ledger activities.
• Coordinate with procurement, project management, and operations teams to monitor project costs, vendor payments, and financial commitments.
• Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations, statutory requirements, company financial policies, and accounting standards.
• Assist in internal and external audits, financial risk assessments, budget variance analysis, and implementation of effective financial controls.
• Support senior management in financial decision-making by providing cost analysis, financial reports, budget updates, and recommendations to improve project profitability.
