A privately held real estate investment firm is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join its FP&A team. The firm specializes in manufactured housing and operates a vertically integrated platform with a significant real estate portfolio.
This is a highly analytical role with significant exposure to senior leadership, portfolio performance, investment decisions, and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong financial modeling skills, real estate experience, and the ability to turn complex financial and operating data into actionable insights.
What You’ll Do
Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources to identify trends and opportunitiesDevelop, maintain, and optimize detailed financial models, including budgets, forecasts, and variance analysesPerform financial analysis supporting strategic planning, investment decisions, and operational improvementsAnalyze real estate initiatives including hold/sell decisions, land development, and debt defeasancePrepare quarterly reporting and other presentations for senior leadershipTrack debt financing terms and performance across the real estate portfolioPartner with senior team members and business units to evaluate performance and identify opportunities for improvementSupport ad hoc financial and strategic projects as the business continues to grow
What They’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus5–10 years of relevant experiencePrevious real estate experience is requiredStrong financial modeling and analytical skillsAdvanced Excel skills, including sensitivity analysis and pivot tablesAbility to analyze large datasets and translate findings into actionable recommendationsStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyAbility to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlinesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills xzbcwsv High level of integrity, ownership, and accountabilityFamiliarity with using AI tools such as ChatGPT to enhance financial analysis and modeling is a plus
