Job Description
Mountain Plains, LLC is seeking a driven team member to provide land surveying services to our valued customers. This role integrates technical skills with a combination of office and field time. - Performing construction staking as well as boundary, as-built and topographic surveying
- Routing pipelines, roadways, electrical lines and other utilities
- Selecting and field fitting well pads and construction staging pads
- Research and identify property ownership, corner records and existing surface rights-of-ways
- Utilize Trimble GPS, Total Station, and Lazer Level
- Preparing and managing data files within Trimble Business Center
- Foster client communication within oil & gas, transportation, utility and private sectors
- Envision, anticipate, resolve and communicate customers' challenges
- Operate a company-provided vehicle with trailer & UTV
- Follow proper processes and procedures to ensure safe work habits
- 3-5 years-field survey using GPS or Total Station
- A surveying license is not required
- Proficient computer and technical skills
- Keen analytical & critical thinking skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail focused, problem solving perspective with ability to adapt to changing customer priorities
- Ability to work in a professional office setting as well as outdoors in adverse weather conditions
- Physical fitness required to travers 2-5 miles in one day on foot across adverse terrain
- Must pass pre-hire, post-accident and random drug/alcohol screening & hold valid driver's license
