We pride ourselves on providing high-quality medicine while creating a comfortable, low-stress experience for both pets and their people.Ideal candidates should possess: Positive Attitude, Love of Animals and Teamwork Skills Customer Service Skills Phone Skills Multi-tasking Skills Attention to DetailWhat You'll DoThis is a dual-role position that combines exceptional client service with hands-on patient support.Welcome clients and their pets with a warm, friendly attitude.Answer phones, schedule appointments, and assist clients with questions.Check clients in and out and help ensure a smooth visit from beginning to end.Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients regarding their pet's care.Process payments and assist with estimates and treatment plans.Maintain accurate client and patient information.Work closely with the medical team to keep appointments moving efficiently.Prepare exam rooms and assist with patient flow.Obtain and record patient histories and vital information.Assist doctors and technicians during appointments.Safely handle and restrain dogs, cats, and other species.Assist with collecting samples and performing basic patient care tasks.Prepare patients and equipment for procedures.Help maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked treatment and exam areas.Provide compassionate, Fear Free–focused handling to help reduce patient stress.Assist with patient discharge instructions and client education.What We're Looking ForWe are looking for someone who is:Friendly, personable, and genuinely enjoys working with people and animals.Comfortable working in a fast-paced veterinary environment.A strong communicator and team player.Dependable, organized, and able to multitask.Comfortable handling animals safely and respectfully.Able to remain calm and professional during challenging situations.Willing to learn and grow within the veterinary field.Passionate about providing an excellent client and patient experience.Veterinary experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with a great attitude and willingness to learn.Why VCA Centennial Valley?We are a team-oriented hospital that believes work should be both meaningful and fun.
