We are a plaintiff-focused law firm representing clients in personal injury, no-fault, and workers’ compensation casesOur firm maintains a strong reputation for delivering sophisticated legal services across multiple practice areas, and joining our firm will provide candidates with real-world litigation experience.
Day-to-Day Responsibility:Manage a caseload of workers' compensation claims from intake through resolutionRepresent clients at hearings, depositions, and proceedings before the Workers' Compensation BoardDraft and review legal documents, motions, briefs, and correspondenceConduct legal research and stay current on New York workers' compensation law and regulationsCommunicate regularly with clients, medical providers, and insurance carriersNegotiate settlements and advocate for maximum client benefits
Qualification:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolActive admission to the New York State Bar4+ years of prior experience in workers' compensation or related practice area requiredStrong litigation, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSpanish proficiency is preferred
Salary and Other Compensation:The annual salary for this position is between $180,000 – $270,000 annually. xzbcwsv Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
