We're Hiring Assistant Manager – Statutory Audit

Location: Mumbai – Andheri East

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute statutory audits for corporate clients across various industries.
• Plan, supervise, and review audit engagements in accordance with applicable auditing standards.
• Review financial statements and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Identify audit risks, internal control weaknesses, and recommend practical solutions.
• Coordinate with clients to obtain required information and resolve audit queries.
• Guide, mentor, and review the work of audit associates and articles.
• Ensure timely completion of audit assignments while maintaining quality standards.
• Liaise with partners and senior management on engagement progress and key audit observations.
• Stay updated with changes in accounting standards, auditing standards, and regulatory requirements.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
• Min 3–5 years of post-qualification experience in Statutory Audit, preferably with a CA firm.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Statutory Audits
• Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS)
• Companies Act, 2013
• Standards on Auditing (SA)
• Financial Statement Analysis
• Experience in handling manufacturing, trading, services, NBFC, or other corporate clients.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and client-handling skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and lead engagement teams.
