Expanded Functions Dental Assistant Reports to: Dentist /Operations Leader FLSA Status: Non - Exempt (Hourly) Department: Operations Employment Status: At-Will Incentive Eligibility: Eligible Job Summary The Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) assists the Dentist, sets up equipment, prepares the patient for treatment, and keeps records. May perform some dental hygiene procedures. May complete certain restorative procedures within the scope and limitations set by the state within which the EFDA is licensed.
