About the Role:

Roundglass Creative Studio is looking for detail-oriented Junior Editors specializing in footage logging, organization, and metadata tagging within our cloud-based system. As a Junior Editor, you will support the post-production workflow by ensuring footage is meticulously logged, tagged, and organized for ease of access by content creators. This role involves maintaining an organized footage library, providing ongoing support to editors, and assisting in the efficient operation of our post-production system.

What You’ll Do:

Footage Logging & Metadata Management

• Manage the footage logging system within a cloud environment, ensuring all video assets are organized, tagged, and accessible to the content creation team.
• Review, log, and tag footage with precise metadata, capturing key information for efficient searchability, asset retrieval, and content production support.
• Maintain consistent organization and file-naming standards, ensuring the footage library is intuitive, well-structured, and easy to navigate.
• Act as the primary support for editors and content creators, assisting them in locating, accessing, and managing logged footage for various projects.

Skills & Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience in a video editing, footage logging, or post-production role, with an emphasis on organizing, tagging, and managing video assets.
• Familiarity with post-production workflows and cloud-based asset management systems.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro, with a focus on media organization and metadata tagging.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage large volumes of footage in a systematic and efficient manner.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support and train team members effectively.
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
