This outpatient oncology clinic operates as part of an academic hospital, providing specialized hematology and oncology services within a structured clinic environment. The facility is supported by collaborating clinical staff available on-site to assist with questions and facilitate coordinated oncologic care delivery. Established clinical protocols are in place to support quality hematologic and oncologic care on a locum tenens basis.

Clinicians will provide on-site outpatient hematology and oncology coverage within an ambulatory clinic setting on a full-time day shift schedule, with flexibility for either five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts per week; no call or weekend obligations are required. The clinical scope encompasses the evaluation and management of hematologic, solid tumor, and liquid tumor cases for an adult patient population, with approximately 20 patient encounters anticipated per day and no new consults expected. All clinical documentation must be maintained through the EPIC EMR system for all patient encounters and treatment planning activities. Hospital privileges are required for this assignment, with a credentialing period of approximately 60 days.
