Job Description: Project Manager (Infrastructure / Virtualization / Cloud) Location: Mumbai (On-site) Experience Required Overall Experience: 8 years in the IT industry Project Management Experience: 5 years managing enterprise IT projects Mandatory Certifications PMP (PMI) / PRINCE2 / Agile Certification (Scrum Master, PMI-ACP, or equivalent) Mandatory Domain Experience Candidates must have worked in the Infrastructure, Virtualization, or Cloud domain , with experience managing enterprise deployment or transformation projects. About the Role We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver complex Infrastructure, Virtualization, and Cloud projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong project governance, stakeholder management, financial control, and delivery management skills while ensuring successful project execution from initiation through closure. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end delivery of Infrastructure, Virtualization, and Cloud transformation projects. Manage multiple medium to large-scale projects simultaneously. Ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards. Drive project planning, execution, monitoring, risk management, and project closure. Coordinate with customers, technical teams, delivery teams, and leadership throughout the project lifecycle. Manage project budgets, profitability, forecasting, and commercial controls. Identify scope changes and manage change requests effectively. Prepare and present project status reports to customers and internal stakeholders. Lead project governance meetings and executive-level discussions. Manage resource allocation, utilization, and scheduling across multiple projects. Ensure customer satisfaction and maintain strong customer relationships. Identify opportunities for additional services and business growth within existing accounts. Continuously improve PMO processes and delivery methodologies. Required Skills & Experience 8 years of overall experience in the IT industry. Minimum 5 years as a Project Manager delivering enterprise IT projects. Strong experience in Infrastructure, Virtualization, or Cloud technologies . Experience managing customer-facing projects for Indian and/or global clients. Strong understanding of project governance and delivery methodologies. Expertise in project budgeting, financial forecasting, and commercial management. Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills. Experience managing cross-functional teams in a matrix organization. Strong risk management and issue resolution capabilities. Excellent presentation, negotiation, and leadership skills. Preferred Technical Exposure Experience managing projects involving one or more of the following technologies: VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) VMware vSphere VMware NSX VMware Aria Suite VMware vSAN Proxmox VE Nutanix Microsoft Azure Amazon Web Services (AWS) Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure Data Center Modernization Virtualization and Migration Projects Project Management Tools Experience with one or more of the following: Jira Microsoft Project Microsoft Excel Microsoft PowerPoint Microsoft Teams Google Workspace Preferred Candidate Profile Experience working with enterprise customers. Strong customer-facing and consulting skills. Experience managing geographically distributed teams. Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects. Strong ownership, accountability, and problem-solving mindset. Comfortable working in a fast-paced delivery environment. Travel Requirement Willingness to travel locally and across India up to 30–40% , based on project requirements.
