FP&A – Real Estate Investment Firm (NYC)
About Our Client
Our client, a NYC-based real estate investment firm focused on residential communities, is seeking an FP&A professional to join their team in the NYC office.
This is a newly created position reporting directly to the CFO, giving you real visibility and a genuine opportunity to shape and build out the FP&A function as the firm continues to scale. The role follows a hybrid schedule and is a great next step in your career.
Position highlights$130-$150k salary plus 10-20% bonusHybrid schedule, four days in the office and one remoteNewly created role with direct exposure to CFO
Key ResponsibilitiesBuild monthly, annual and multi-year budgets and forecasts for the consolidated business and individual locationsCompare actual results to plan across income statements, balance sheets and cash flowsAnalyze financial trends and recommend ways to support growth and reduce costsPerform monthly variance analysis on the financial statementsDrive improvements to reporting processes and efficiencyPrepare lender materials and compliance certificatesServe as a finance and planning systems resource with an interest in the technology side of financeAct as a data link between Finance, Asset Management and Property OperationsCheck that expense allocations and related rebilling are accurateTrack and report on risk xzbcwsv items, including loan guaranteesPartner with business owners and management, applying solid accounting and financial reporting knowledge
Qualifications4–6 years of FP&A or corporate finance experienceBachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, and strong financial modeling skillsComfortable collaborating with operators and senior stakeholders; open to candidates from any industry, with real estate preferredMBA, and experience with Yardi and/or Salesforce is a plus
