Senior Executive / Assistant Manager - FnV Planning & Replenishment Nature's Basket Mumbai

About the Role

Nature's Basket is looking for a dynamic Senior Executive / Assistant Manager - FnV Planning & Replenishment to manage end-to-end planning and replenishment for the Fresh Fruits & Vegetables category across our store network. The role is responsible for ensuring optimum stock availability, maintaining freshness, minimizing wastage, and driving efficient inventory management through close collaboration with Category, Procurement, Distribution Centre, Logistics, and Store Operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily replenishment planning for Fresh Fruits & Vegetables across all Nature's Basket stores.
• Monitor store-wise inventory levels, stock ageing, and freshness to maximize product availability.
• Coordinate with vendors, farmers, aggregators, and procurement teams to ensure timely supply.
• Track vendor performance, including Fill Rate, OTIF, and overall service levels.
• Plan inventory based on sales trends, seasonality, promotions, and demand forecasts.
• Monitor inventory ageing and initiate liquidation plans to minimize shrinkage and wastage.
• Coordinate with Distribution Centre and Logistics teams to ensure timely dispatches and deliveries.
• Partner with Category and Store Operations teams to resolve stock shortages and quality issues.
• Prepare and publish daily MIS reports covering inventory, availability, ageing, wastage, fill rate, and sales performance.
• Ensure timely RTV processing for rejected or damaged produce.
• Support new store launches, festive demand planning, and promotional activities.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs related to Fresh category handling, receiving, storage, and replenishment.
• Drive continuous process improvement initiatives across the supply chain.
• Collaborate with Quality teams for product quality compliance and vendor performance reviews.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Engineering, Commerce, Science, or Management.
• Retail Management qualification will be an added advantage.

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in Retail Grocery, Fresh Supply Chain, or Modern Trade.
• Hands-on experience in SAP, inventory planning, replenishment, and vendor management is preferred.
