Responsibilities

Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with facility policy
Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and monitor residents for changes in condition
Document care in the electronic health record and communicate updates to the care team
Collaborate with CNAs, RNs, physicians, and therapy staff to implement care plans and ensure patient safety
Assist residents with activities of daily living and provide wound care as directed
Maintain infection control standards and safety protocols; report adverse events promptly

Requirements

Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in Maine (or eligibility to practice in Maine)
Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings preferred
Ability to work night shifts and weekend rotation; adapt to a long-term care environment
Strong communication and documentation skills
