Role Description The Architect role at AR Designs is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The Architect will be responsible for developing architectural concepts, preparing detailed drawings and 3 D models, and ensuring designs comply with building codes and regulations. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with clients to understand requirements, collaborating with structural, MEP, and other consultants, and supporting project planning, scheduling, and documentation. The role also involves overseeing integration of design changes, assisting in site visits, reviewing construction quality, and working with project managers to align deliverables with timelines and budgets.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, including concept development, space planning, and detailing. Experience with Integration and Software Development as applied to architectural workflows, such as BIM tools and design collaboration platforms. Proficiency in Project Management, including coordination with stakeholders, timeline tracking, and documentation. Working knowledge of relevant design and modeling software (e.g., Auto CAD, Revit, Sketch Up, or similar). Understanding of local building codes, regulations, and construction practices, preferably in Ahmedabad or similar urban contexts. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture from an accredited institution and eligibility for professional licensure as per local requirements. Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in an on-site team environment.
