<p> Planned Parenthood Southeast (PPSE) is seeking a visionary, mission-driven clinician to serve as <b> Associate Medical Director </b> . Working under the guidance of the Medical Director, you will provide clinical leadership, mentor the next generation of providers, and deliver compassionate, patient-centered reproductive healthcare across <b> Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi </b> . If you possess an excellent bedside manner, communicate compassionately with patients and staff, and want to practice to the top of your license to protect and expand reproductive freedom, we want to hear from you. </p><p> Key Responsibilities </p><p> Clinical Leadership & Quality Assurance </p><ul><li><p><b> Supervise & Mentor: </b> Guide affiliate clinicians, conduct performance evaluations, and lead provider training to enhance clinical competency. </p></li><li><p><b> Oversee Quality & Risk: </b> Guide Quality and Risk Management (QRM) strategies, lead peer review processes, and serve on the Clinical Subcommittee. </p></li><li><p><b> Protocol Development: </b> Create and update affiliate protocols in alignment with Medical Standards and Guidelines (MS&Gs). </p></li></ul><p> Program Development & Education </p><ul><li><p><b> Expand Services: </b> Collaborate on new clinical service development, optimize workflows, and update protocols. </p></li><li><p><b> Academic Partnerships: </b> Build connections with academic institutions and serve as a preceptor for medical students and residents. </p></li><li><p><b> Representation: </b> Represent PPSE at local and national medical conferences. </p></li></ul><p> Direct Patient Care </p><ul><li><p><b> Comprehensive Care: </b> Deliver direct clinical services including advanced gynecology, family planning, abortion care (first and second trimester), and gender-affirming health services. </p></li><li><p><b> Diagnostic Management: </b> Perform, order, and interpret screening and diagnostic tests. </p></li><li><p><b> EHR Documentation: </b> Maintain accurate, clear documentation using PPSE's Electronic Health Record system while ensuring absolute HIPAA compliance. </p></li></ul><p> Qualification Requirements </p><p> Education & Licensure </p><ul><li><p><b> Degree: </b> MD or DO from an accredited institution. Active Georgia license and willing to obtain Alabama license. </p></li><li><p><b> Certification: </b> OB/GYN Board certified preferred. </p></li><li><p><b> Licenses: </b> Must hold and maintain active <b> GA Medical License </b> , <b> GA Dispensing License </b> , and <b> DEA Registration </b> . </p></li><li><p><b> Credentialing: </b> Must clear credentialing by the Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) Insurance Liability Division. </p></li></ul><p> Experience & Skills </p><ul><li><p><b> Clinical Experience: </b> 3-5 years post-residency experience, with at least 3 years specifically in reproductive health (including first and second-trimester abortion care). </p></li><li><p><b> Leadership: </b> Proven track record in medical program development and clinical staff supervision. </p></li><li><p><b> Tech-Savvy: </b> Experience with digital healthcare delivery and Electronic Medical Records (EMR). </p></li><li><p><b> Languages: </b> Bilingual (Spanish/English) is preferred but not required. </p></li></ul><p> Operational & Travel Commitments </p><ul><li><p><b> Travel: </b> Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% to various PPSE locations </p></li></ul>
