Location: Offshore – India (Remote)

Employment Type: Longterm Contract

Working Hours: EST (US) Hours - 6:00/7:00pm - 2:00/3:00am

Key Requirements

• Strong hands-on Oracle DBA experience in production environments
• Experience with Oracle 12c and/or 19c
• Production Oracle database patching
• Backup, recovery, restore, and environment refresh experience
• Oracle performance troubleshooting and tuning
• Capacity management, tablespaces, disk utilization, and database health
• Strong PL/SQL development experience
• Ability to troubleshoot complex and legacy database schemas
• Experience developing safe production data-fix/corrective scripts
• Experience reviewing SQL/PL/SQL scripts before production deployment
• Production release and emergency hotfix deployment experience
• Strong production incident troubleshooting and root-cause analysis
• Experience working in regulated financial services or similarly controlled enterprise environments
• Strong change-control and release-management discipline
• Cloud database experience; Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) strongly preferred
• AWS or Azure database experience will also be considered
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lead production issue discussions and coordinate with vendors and technical teams
• Ability to work independently across U.S. and India time zones
• Regular experience using AI development/productivity tools as part of daily technical work
