Primary Purpose:

Own the Cloud & Dev Ops architecture strategy across Stolt-Nielsen. Define target-state architecture, standards, governance, and best practices for Azure, Dev Ops, CI/CD, Ia C, observability, and platform engineering. Ensure cloud platforms are secure, scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient. Act as the technical authority for Cloud & Dev Ops, partnering with Engineering Managers on technical direction and architecture decisions. Guide divisional teams to align with enterprise cloud standards and target architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Platform Architecture:

Define and maintain Azure cloud architecture, landing zones, governance, and standards aligned to the Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF). Drive adoption of Infrastructure as Code (Bicep/Terraform), CI/CD pipelines, reusable modules, and automation standards. Establish observability, monitoring, logging, alerting, SRE, and operational excellence practices.

Security, Fin Ops & Enterprise Architecture:

Embed security-by-design, identity management, and governance controls into cloud platforms. Own cloud cost optimization, Fin Ops practices, and consumption governance. Contribute to enterprise architecture standards, technology roadmaps, and EAM tooling.

Technical Leadership:

Provide technical leadership, architecture guidance, and mentoring to engineering teams. Partner with Engineering Managers to establish engineering standards and quality benchmarks. Evaluate cloud platforms, tools, and vendors, supporting build-vs-buy and investment decisions.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred). 10+ years in Cloud, Infrastructure, Dev Ops Engineering, or Architecture.

Strong Azure architecture experience, including:

Landing Zones Networking Governance Cloud Adoption Framework

Hands-on expertise in:

CI/CD Azure Dev Ops Git Hub Actions Bicep / Terraform

Experience with:

Observability & Monitoring SRE Practices Cloud Security & IAM Fin Ops & Cost Optimization Experience leading cloud modernization and on-premises to cloud migrations.
