About the Role

We’re looking for a creative and enthusiastic Illustrator Intern who is passionate about drawing, character design, and children’s content. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of illustration and be eager to learn, experiment, take feedback, and develop their skills while working closely with our creative team.

Key Responsibilities

• Create character concepts, expressions, poses, and background illustrations under guidance.
• Use AI-assisted tools to explore character and visual concepts based on scripts.
• Refine and clean up AI-generated artwork in Photoshop to make it suitable for production.
• Create character turnaround sheets, expression sheets, and other visual development assets.
• Follow existing style guide and maintain visual consistency across different assets.
• Work on feedback from creative leads and make revisions accordingly.
• Collaborate with illustrators, animators, scriptwriters, and other team members.
• Organize and prepare artwork files according to production requirements.
• Explore and learn new illustration and AI-assisted creative workflows used in animation production.

What We're Looking For

• Strong interest in illustration and character design
• Portfolio showcasing character design, illustrations, backgrounds, personal art work, college projects or freelance work. Please include a portfolio link with your application.
• Freshers and candidates without professional experience are welcome to apply.
• Basic understanding of drawing, color, composition, perspective.
• Interest in creating content for preschool kids, with an understanding that children's visuals should be simple, engaging, relatable, and easy to understand.
• Creative mindset with a willingness to experiment and learn new techniques.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Fine Arts, Animation, Graphic Design or related field.

Software & Tools

• Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator
• Familiarity with AI-assisted creative tools such as Gemini, Claude, ChatGPT, and Higgsfield is a plus.
