Audit Associate

<p><b>Experience: </b> 1–4 Years </p><p><b>Location: </b> India (US Audit) </p><p><b>Job Summary </b> </p><p>We are looking for a detail-oriented <b>US Audit Associate </b> with experience in <b>Commercial Audits </b> to support audit engagements for privately held and middle-market companies across various industries. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in executing audit procedures, preparing workpapers, and working with U.S. GAAP and auditing standards while collaborating with onshore engagement teams. </p><p><b>Key Responsibilities </b> </p><ul><li>Perform audit procedures for commercial audit engagements in accordance with U.S. GAAS and firm methodologies. </li><li>Prepare and document audit workpapers, schedules, and supporting documentation. </li><li>Test internal controls, perform substantive testing, and evaluate audit evidence. </li><li>Assist in auditing financial statement line items including cash, accounts receivable, inventory, fixed assets, accounts payable, revenue, expenses, and equity. </li><li>Perform analytical procedures and account reconciliations. </li><li>Assist in preparing financial statements and related disclosures in accordance with U.S. GAAP. </li><li>Communicate with onshore teams to resolve audit queries and ensure timely completion of engagements. </li><li>Maintain audit documentation in compliance with firm quality standards. </li><li>Support engagement teams during planning, execution, and completion phases of audits. </li><li>Meet engagement deadlines while maintaining high-quality deliverables. </li> </ul><p><b>Required Qualifications </b> </p><ul><li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field. </li><li>CA Inter, CPA (Pursuing), ACCA, or equivalent qualification is preferred. </li><li>1–4 years of experience in <b>U.S. Audit </b> with exposure to <b>Commercial Audit engagements </b>. </li><li>Good understanding of <b>U.S. GAAP </b>, <b>U.S. GAAS </b>, and audit methodologies. </li><li>Experience in preparing audit workpapers and performing substantive audit procedures. </li><li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills. </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills. </li> </ul>
