Role: Data Analyst – Lean IX Rollout (Service Now Integration)
Location: PAN - India ( Bangalore , Chennai, Hyd, Pune, Gurgaon, Noida - Only)
Experience : 8+ years
Job Summary
Mandatory- A data analyst in a digital transformation context, with an understanding of transactional systems (systems of record) and their related data models.
Key Responsibilities
Data Mapping & Migration Analyze, clean, and transform legacy application and technology data from various sources for ingestion into Lean IX. Map data fields between Lean IX Factsheets (Applications, IT Components, Business Capabilities) and external data sources. Define and execute data migration strategies to ensure zero data loss during the rollout phases. Lean IX & Service Now Integration Collaborate with the Integration and Enterprise Architecture teams to configure and maintain the Lean IX-Service Now integration. Analyze the Service Now data model (e.g., CIs, Business Services) to align it with the Lean IX data structure. Monitor and validate the bi-directional data flow, ensuring that feedback loops into Service Now are accurate and do not corrupt existing CMDB data. 3. Data Governance & Quality Assurance Establish data quality dashboards within Lean IX to identify missing attributes, orphaned factsheets, or stale data. Design and implement data validation rules to ensure ongoing data integrity post-rollout. Work closely with Application Owners and Tech Leads to drive data completeness campaigns. 4. Reporting & Insights Create custom reports, diagrams, and dashboards in Lean IX to provide stakeholders with visibility into the IT landscape. Translate complex data sets into actionable insights regarding application rationalization and technical debt. Qualifications & Skills Technical Skills Data Manipulation Advanced proficiency in Excel (vlookups, power query, formulas) and SQL for data extraction and analysis. Data Analysis Proven experience with data profiling, cleansing, and transformation techniques. API/Integration Basics Understanding of REST APIs and data formats (JSON, XML) to troubleshoot integration synchronization issues. Preferred Skills Lean IX Experience Prior experience with a Lean IX rollout or administration is highly desirable. Service Now Knowledge Familiarity with the Service Now Common Service Data Model (CSDM) or CMDB architecture is a major plus. EA Concepts Basic understanding of Enterprise Architecture concepts (Togaf, application portfolio management). Soft Skills Strong attention to detail(A passion for data accuracy and structural consistency), effective stakeholder communication, and analytical problem-solving skills to ensure data accuracy, collaborate across teams, and resolve data quality issues.
