BluePearl Pet Hospital in Brooklyn, NY is growing our team and seeking a passionate, experienced Veterinary Technician Supervisor to lead, mentor, and develop our talented veterinary professionals within our Overnight Emergency department. Pay: $32.00 - $51.00 / hour + competitive shift differentials This pay band is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency assessment tool. Shift differentials are based on a 4-hour minimum. For example: Mon - Fri: 6pm to 8am = +$4.50/hr . Shift Differential Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = +$4.50/hr. Shift Differential Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = +$8.00/hr. Shift Differential As a Veterinary Technician Supervisor, you will Serve as a mentor and clinical resource for non-DVM team members by modeling strong work habits, demonstrating effective clinical skills, and applying sound business judgment. Coach team members to proactively anticipate and address patient and client needs while recognizing when to seek support for complex or stressful situations. Partner with hospital leadership to plan and facilitate Technician and Veterinary Assistant team meetings. Coordinate training schedules and development opportunities for Patient Care team members. Identify workplace concerns or conflicts and partner with leadership to support timely and effective resolution. Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback, collaborating with leadership to develop and implement performance improvement plans when needed. Support a positive, collaborative, and high-performing clinical environment through effective communication, teamwork, and accountability. Perform other related duties as assigned. Why BluePearl?
