What You'll Be DoingOversee daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timely financial reporting.Lead the month-end close process and prepare financial statements.Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.Analyze financial performance and provide meaningful insights to company leadership.Oversee payroll processing and assist with various HR-related functions.Lead, support, and develop a small accounting team.Maintain effective internal controls, accounting procedures, and reporting processes.Identify potential financial concerns and proactively communicate recommendations to leadership.Remain actively involved in day-to-day accounting responsibilities, stepping in wherever needed.
What They're Looking ForConstruction accounting experience is required.Strong knowledge of general accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close.Experience managing accounting operations with the ability to work independently.Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize responsibilities and meet deadlines.Excellent communication skills and confidence working directly with senior leadership.A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a willingness to roll up your sleeves.Someone who takes pride in their work, values accountability, and doesn't believe any accounting task is beneath them.
