Job Description:

Int Verse Inc. is hiring an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with hands-on exposure to Vertex tax engine integration to join our India delivery team. You'll be deployed on a global Wave 2 rollout running through go-live and hypercare into July 2027, with continued opportunities across our SAP portfolio thereafter.

What you'll do:

Build and support custom developments across the Wave 2 scope — reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows Develop and troubleshoot the technical layer of the SAP–Vertex integration: RFC connections, external tax interface calls, user exits and BAd Is for tax determination, and error handling Debug tax calculation failures across OTC, PTP, and FI documents and work with functional consultants to isolate config vs. code root causes Build custom tax reporting extracts and reconciliation programs between SAP documents and Vertex registers Develop data migration programs, validation routines, and cutover utilities Performance-tune high-volume tax and billing programs Support SIT, UAT, regression cycles, and post-go-live hypercare with defect fixes and root cause analysis

What you'll bring:

7+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience 1–2 years working on Vertex integrated with SAP — external tax interface, RFC troubleshooting, or tax-related enhancements Strong core ABAP: Reports, ALV, BDC/LSMW, IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, User Exits, BAd Is, Enhancement Framework, Smart Forms/Adobe Forms Solid debugging skills and comfort tracing cross-module and interface issues end-to-end Experience across full-lifecycle implementations or rollouts — design through go-live and hypercare Proven ability to work with global stakeholders and distributed teams

No specific business domain experience required for this role.

Nice to have:

SAP S/4 HANA and ABAP on HANA (CDS Views, AMDP, OData) SAP Fiori/UI5 extension experience Familiarity with SAP interface monitoring tools
