Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced CNC Programming Specialist for a direct hire opportunity with an established manufacturing organization in the Syracuse, NY area.This position is ideal for a skilled CNC professional with strong Mastercam experience who can independently develop programs, interpret technical drawings, and support machining operations in a collaborative manufacturing environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, modify, and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam.Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.Support CNC milling operations and troubleshoot programming challenges.Collaborate with manufacturing personnel to ensure accuracy and efficiency.Assist with programming adjustments, machining processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.Maintain accurate programming documentation and follow established procedures.
Required QualificationsMinimum 4 years of CNC programming experience.Strong hands-on proficiency with Mastercam.Ability to independently develop CNC programs.Experience with CNC milling operations.Proficiency interpreting technical drawings and manufacturing specifications.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred QualificationsExperience programming complex components.Familiarity with multi-axis machining.Background in precision manufacturing.Relevant technical education or training.
