Preconstruction Project Manager - Power Solutions (Remote)

For our client, we are seeking a Preconstruction Project Manager - Power Solutions to join the team of a leader in the Real Estate & Construction space. This role will guide preconstruction efforts for complex power delivery projects, ensuring technical scope, schedule logic, and execution planning are aligned from early intake through award. The ideal candidate will serve as a key connector across estimating, engineering, procurement, and scheduling teams to move bids forward efficiently. This position will also help identify risks, close scope gaps, and support a smooth transition from proposal development into project execution.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available. Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Drive technical project development from initial intake through bid submission and award
• Serve as the primary coordination point across estimating, engineering, procurement, and scheduling teams
• Establish timelines to ensure alignment and accountability for successful outcomes
• Support detailed reviews of RFPs, technical requirements, and specifications
• Identify scope gaps, technical risks, and execution constraints
• Partner with schedulers to validate project schedule logic
• Lead the development of project execution plans and early work packages
• Ensure a smooth project startup and transition from bid to execution

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in power delivery engineering or project development
• 10 years of experience with high-voltage substations, switchyards, or transmission line projects
• Strong understanding of EPC and design-build delivery models
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive alignment
• Strong technical aptitude to translate design and scope into executable plans
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
