Club Manager
WTF Gyms · Remote, India
FULL TIME
Job Description
ABOUT WTF GYMS WTF Gyms is building a technology-enabled, customer-first fitness network across Delhi NCR. We combine high-quality facilities, certified trainers, personalized fitness journeys, digital progress tracking and disciplined club operations. We are hiring Club Managers to take end-to-end ownership of individual clubs across six operating zones in Delhi NCR. ROLE MISSION Run a safe, profitable, high-energy club where members achieve results, employees perform to standard and every revenue and service metric is actively managed. This is a hands-on operating role, not an administrative desk position. KEY OWNERSHIP AREAS 1. CLUB P&L AND BUSINESS PERFORMANCE • Own monthly revenue, contribution margin, controllable costs and club-level profitability. • Build the annual and monthly operating plan and translate it into weekly and daily targets. • Track membership revenue, personal-training revenue, renewals, collections, refunds, discounts and outstanding dues. • Review daily MIS, identify variances and execute corrective action without waiting for month-end. • Protect commercial discipline: approved pricing, discount controls, accurate receipts and zero revenue leakage. 2. MEMBERSHIP SALES AND RETENTION • Own the complete funnel: enquiry response, appointment setting, walk-ins, trials, follow-ups, conversion and onboarding. • Conduct daily pipeline reviews with the sales team and coach weak conversion stages. • Improve renewal rate, member lifetime value and referral contribution. • Personally handle high-value prospects, escalations and recovery of at-risk members. • Partner with the Area Sales Manager on campaigns, corporate tie-ups, community outreach and local activations. 3. MEMBER EXPERIENCE AND SERVICE RECOVERY • Maintain a visible presence on the gym floor and ensure members are welcomed, supported and heard. • Monitor feedback, complaints, NPS/CSAT signals and online reviews; close issues with documented root-cause action. • Ensure onboarding, fitness assessment, programme hand-off and progress-review commitments are delivered. • Build a club culture that is energetic, inclusive, professional and outcome-focused. 4. PEOPLE LEADERSHIP • Lead front-desk, sales, housekeeping and fitness teams in partnership with functional leaders. • Plan rosters, attendance, shift coverage, leave and peak-hour deployment. • Set individual targets, conduct daily huddles, weekly one-to-ones and monthly performance reviews. • Coach, recognise and correct performance; escalate conduct or integrity concerns promptly. • Maintain strong hiring, induction and retention standards for club staff. 5. FITNESS DELIVERY AND PERSONAL TRAINING • Work with the Area Fitness Manager to enforce trainer standards, floor coverage, assessments and programme quality. • Monitor personal-training trials, conversion, package utilisation, renewals and trainer productivity. • Prevent unsafe practices, unprofessional conduct and unauthorised training. • Ensure trainer allocation supports member goals and commercial performance. 6. OPERATIONS, SAFETY AND COMPLIANCE • Maintain opening/closing discipline, hygiene, equipment uptime, music, temperature, lighting and consumables. • Ensure preventive maintenance, incident logging, emergency readiness and vendor follow-through. • Enforce SOPs for cash, inventory, access control, data privacy and member records. • Complete operational audits and close every action within agreed timelines. SUCCESS METRICS • Monthly club revenue and contribution target achievement • Enquiry-to-trial, trial-to-membership and renewal conversion • Personal-training revenue and trainer productivity • Member retention, referral contribution and complaint closure time • Staff productivity, attendance and attrition • Audit score, equipment uptime, hygiene and safety compliance MANDATORY EXPERIENCE • 4 years in a commercial gym or fitness-club environment, with at least 2 years owning a club, centre or comparable unit. • Evidence of managing membership sales, service delivery, teams and operational controls. • Strong preference for current or recent experience with recognised gym brands such as cult.fit, Anytime Fitness, Ultimate Gyms, Gold's Gym, Fitness First or comparable Delhi-NCR chains. • Working knowledge of CRM/pipeline management, club MIS and target-based performance reviews. • Delhi-NCR mobility and willingness to work on-site, including weekends and peak operating hours. WHAT STRONG CANDIDATES WILL DEMONSTRATE • Exact numbers: club size, revenue target, conversion rate, renewal rate, PT revenue and team size. • A clear example of recovering an underperforming club. • Mature handling of member escalations and staff performance. • Commercial judgment without compromising safety, ethics or member trust. LOCATION AND WORK STYLE On-site across Delhi NCR. Final club allocation will depend on the selected candidate's location, operating strength and business requirement. WTF Gyms is an equal-opportunity employer. Selection is based on relevant capability, evidence and role fit.
