Reconciliation lead - nostro and sundry gl reconciliations

Job Role: Reconciliation Lead

Contract duration : 9 months contract

Experience: 8+ years

Location: Work from home

Knowledge:

System Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of TLM (Smart Stream), Swift Gateway, Flex Cube, reconciliation dashboards; Excel proficiency a must. Functional Knowledge: Deep understanding of reconciliation practices, Nostro, Inter-entity accounting, Swift messages, and Treasury funding cycles. Familiarity with financial controls, GL accounting principles, provisioning and write-off policies, and external audit requirements.

Skills:

Experience presenting or preparing content for governance forums (e.g., audit, reconciliation committees, Central Bank review). High accountability, ownership mindset, problem-solving attitude, and ability to manage cross-border coordination.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or Banking; CA/MBA preferred. 8–10 years in financial operations, with at least 5 years in reconciliations, internal controls, involving Nostro/interbranch or treasury processes.
