You will drive commercial success on UK infrastructure programmes by managing costs, procurement and contract administration in NEC environments. You’ll work with cross-functional project teams to align cost strategies with value for money and project objectives. You will operate with data-driven insight to optimise performance and support contract close-out and dispute resolution where needed. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li world-class training and mentoring toward chartership /li li career development and progression /li li variety and flexibility in embedding with clients or multiple programmes /li li recognition of contributions and initiatives /li li opportunity to work on high-profile UK infrastructure projects /li li inclusive, equal-opportunity employer /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Manage commercial contracts, procurement and negotiations in an NEC environment /li li Lead post-contract commercial activities: payment approvals, cost assessments, contract changes /li li Support contractors with transparent, data-driven processes /li li Identify cost-saving strategies and optimize contract performance /li li Provide data-driven cost management insights for decision making /li li Contribute to commercial and contractual performance of a project as part of a team /li li Deliver value for money by following established commercial/procurement/contractual strategies /li li Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, Safety, Security and Quality Standards /li li Oversee selection and management of construction and engineering contractors /li li Advise on procurement strategy and manage tender processes and evaluations /li li Scrutinise and verify interim payment applications and prepare certificates /li li Manage change control and produce cost reports and forecasts /li li Assist Project Managers with Early Warnings, Instructions and Compensation Events /li li Attend progress meetings and promote commercial awareness on projects /li li Support dispute resolution and contract close-out strategies as required /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Proven expertise in quantity surveying, procurement and/or estimating on large-scale infrastructure projects /li li Degree-qualified with chartered status (MRICS) or actively working towards it /li li Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and infrastructure cost management /li li Collaborative, proactive approach with clear communication and adaptable thinking /li li Ability to balance site travel with flexible working /li li Drive to contribute, lead and grow within a global consultancy /li /ul ul li collaborative /li li clear communicator /li li proactive /li li NEC contracts /li li infrastructure cost management /li li cost reporting /li /ul
