Job Description

Sinai Hospital's Intermediate Care Unit is a 36-bed ICU step-down unit caring for stable, critically ill adult patients who need close monitoring and frequent intervention. Each private room is equipped with full hemodynamic monitoring, and the unit's broad case mix spans neurologic, respiratory, cardiac, renal, and other complex conditions, giving nurses wide exposure in a fast-paced critical care environment.

Summary:
Under the direction of the unit manager, this role provides direct clinical patient care. The role will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct age-appropriate clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level. The role is responsible for supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing required
  • Registered Nurse License - Current Maryland license or eligibility to obtain Maryland license
  • Basic Life Support certification

Pay Range: $37.15 to $57.58 (Based On Experience)
