Business Development Manager - Africa

We are a fast-growing re-commerce company transforming the way refurbished technology is bought, sold, and experienced across Africa. We are building a trusted ecosystem for quality refurbished smartphones and consumer technology , with a strong focus on reliability, affordability, sustainability, and customer experience. As we continue expanding across African markets, we’re looking for a Business Development Manager who understands the mobile phone and refurbished smartphone industry and can help us scale our business, partnerships, and revenue. The Role We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager – Africa with 5 years of experience to drive commercial growth across: Nigeria | Kenya | Uganda | South Africa What you’ll be responsible for Drive sales and revenue growth across the market Build and manage relationships with mobile industry partners, vendors, suppliers, and strategic accounts Identify and onboard new business and channel partners Develop and execute market expansion and sales strategies Lead and develop high-performing teams Own business performance and P&L Monitor sales, stock, returns, warranty, marketing, and financial performance Represent Badili with key industry stakeholders Work closely with retail, finance, technical, supply chain, and country teams We’re particularly looking for candidates with experience in: Mobile phones / Smartphones ♻️ Refurbished & used mobile devices Re-commerce / recommerce Mobile distribution Channel Sales Partnerships & Business Development Candidates with experience managing P&L, teams, partners, sales, and commercial operations will be strongly considered.
