Accountant

About the Role

RAQMEA is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations and support financial reporting for our IT Services Export business. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in accounting functions relevant to export-oriented IT services companies.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, and reconciliations Handle accounts payable and receivable Process invoices, including export invoicing for IT services Assist with GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance filings Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing Prepare financial reports and MIS as required Coordinate with auditors and consultants for statutory and tax audits Maintain compliance with FEMA/RBI regulations related to export of services (as applicable) Support payroll-related accounting entries Ensure accurate documentation and filing of financial records

Requirements

2–3 years of relevant accounting experience Prior exposure to accounting in the IT Services Export domain preferred Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, or similar) and MS Excel Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Good communication skills
