ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

A leading multi-stage venture investment platform is looking for a Partner to lead its Manufacturing and Hardware sector cluster, covering Deeptech, Artificial Intelligence, Aerospace and Robotics.

This is an end-to-end leadership role encompassing investment decisions, sector strategy, team management, founder engagement and cluster P& L ownership.

The role will co-drive the Category I Angel Fund pipeline for the sector and contribute to the wider investment strategy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Investment Management

Manage the complete investment lifecycle, including deal sourcing, evaluation, due diligence, investment committee presentations, negotiations, fundraising, portfolio monitoring and exits. Develop sector-focused investment theses and drive structured investment decisions. Lead financial evaluation, market assessment, competitive analysis and category mapping.

Sector Cluster Leadership

Lead and mentor an 8–10-member sector team with complete P& L ownership. Conduct weekly deal-pipeline reviews and quarterly sector strategy reviews. Develop market maps, competitive landscapes and investment theses. Drive category-building initiatives and represent the investment platform externally.

Portfolio and Founder Engagement

Act as the primary link between portfolio founders and internal teams. Support founders across go-to-market strategy, product development, fundraising, governance and leadership hiring. Facilitate follow-on funding through venture capital firms, family offices and global investor networks. Drive secondary transactions, strategic exits and structured liquidity events. Monitor portfolio performance, cash runway and exit readiness.

Fund and Stakeholder Management

Co-drive the Category I Angel Fund pipeline for the assigned sector. Contribute to the overall fund and investment strategy. Engage with Limited Partners and strategic investors. Ensure governance and compliance in accordance with Category I AIF regulations.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

10+ years of experience in Venture Capital, Corporate Venture Capital, Investment Banking, Private Equity, consulting or startup leadership. Strong experience across deal sourcing, evaluation, execution, portfolio management and exits. Deep understanding of Deeptech, Artificial Intelligence, Manufacturing, Hardware, Aerospace or Robotics. Relevant exposure to Fintech or D2 C sectors may also be considered. Proven experience in team leadership and P& L ownership. Strong investment judgement, analytical ability and commercial understanding. Founder-friendly and execution-oriented approach. Strong communication, stakeholder management and people-leadership capabilities.
