About the Role We're looking for an Accessory Designer who is passionate about design, innovation, and mentoring aspiring creatives. At Skillinabox, this role goes beyond designing—you'll have the opportunity to build and shape an entire department . As one of the key members of our growing team, you'll play an important role in defining processes, creating learning experiences, driving creative direction, and contributing to the long-term vision of the Accessories vertical. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging online and offline sessions in Accessory Design , covering handbags, jewellery, belts, wallets, and other lifestyle accessories. Conduct practical workshops, mentor students, and guide them in building industry-ready portfolios and projects. Develop lesson plans, assignments, presentations, and assess student performance. Design and develop accessories from concept and ideation to final product , ensuring creativity, functionality, and commercial relevance. Conduct Research & Development (R&D) by tracking fashion trends, consumer insights, materials, trims, colours, and emerging design innovations. Collaborate with sourcing, merchandising, production, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth product development and execution. Demonstrate a strong understanding of the complete product lifecycle, manufacturing processes, and industry best practices. Be proficient in industry-standard design software and contribute effectively within a collaborative team environment while mentoring and leading projects when required. Qualifications 0–2 years of experience in Accessory Design, Product Development, or teaching . Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accessory Design, Product Design, Fashion Design, or a related field . Freshers with an exceptional portfolio and strong communication skills are welcome. A portfolio showcasing accessory design projects is mandatory. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, or other relevant design software is preferred. Why Us?
