Eligible employees also benefit from a comprehensive benefits package that promotes a healthy work-life balance. <p></p> Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit: <br /> Academic Affairs (AA) is headed by the Provost and Senior Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs who serves as the institutions Chief Academic Officer (CAO) and is responsible for administering academic policies. AA is comprised of each of the universitys colleges, schools, and libraries, along with other academic support and administrative units, to include Learner Operations, Research, Innovation and Engagement, Institutional Planning, Assessment and Research, and Global Affairs. Academic Affairs works collaboratively to strengthen ECUs culture of academic excellence in line with our mission to be a national model for student success, public service, and regional transformation. <p></p> The Office of Undergraduate Admissions Office is the primary point of contact for a traditional first year student, transfer, or non-traditional adult student seeking admission to East Carolina University. The office is responsible for identifying and recruiting potential applicants with outstanding academic ability and potential and assisting in the application process to completion. <p></p> Primary Purpose of Position: <br /> The Admissions Communication &amp; Project Coordinator supports East Carolina Universitys enrollment goals by managing communication projects, coordinating message flow across platforms, and ensuring consistency and accuracy of messaging throughout the recruitment and admissions cycle. Reporting to the Associate Director for Campus Experiences, the Coordinator serves as the primary liaison between Undergraduate Admissions, University Marketing and Communications, and Information Technology to support communication strategy, content review and project execution. This position oversees communication planning, reviews admissions letters and recruitment materials, coordinates texting campaigns, monitors updates to digital resources, supports communication-related reporting, and ensures that information provided to prospective students remains accurate and timely. The Coordinator provides guidance to admissions staff on appropriate communication practices, tone, and standards and serves as a subject matter resource for communication-related initiatives. <p></p> Minimum Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: <br /> <br /> <ul><li> Bachelors degree </li><li> Exceptional oral and written communication skills </li><li> Experience working with a wide range of constituencies </li> </ul> <p></p> License or Certification Required by Statute or Regulation : <br /> <br /> <ul><li> Valid Drivers License or obtained with 30 days of the date of hire. Must be maintained as a condition of employment </li><li> Ability to rent a vehicle </li> </ul> <p></p> Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: <br /> <br /> <ul><li> Bachelors in Communication, Marketing, or related field </li><li> Experience in Admissions or Higher Education </li><li> Exceptional organizational skills </li><li> Strong interpersonal communication skills </li><li> Knowledge of ECU programs and admissions policies </li><li> Technical experience with CRM </li> </ul> <p></p> Special Instructions to Applicant : <br /> East Carolina University requires applicants to submit a candidate profile online to be considered for the position.
