Salary: $100,000 - 165,000 per year Requirements:

• We require U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain an active Secret clearance.
• We look for experience developing and integrating software on complex multi-threaded embedded C and C++ codebases.
• We require at least 1 year of experience with object-oriented programming, preferably in C++.
• We expect proficiency in writing unit tests and ensuring code reliability.
• We need a basic understanding of networking protocols and architecture.
• We require proficiency in scripting languages such as Python.
• We look for experience developing or supporting device drivers.
• We require a willingness to work onsite in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
• Preferred experience includes DO-178C.
• Preferred experience includes TCP/IP network application development.
• Preferred experience includes UML.
• Preferred experience includes CORBA.
• Preferred experience includes Linux.
• Preferred experience includes embedded systems development for software-defined radios.
• Preferred experience includes work on Department of Defense projects.
• Preferred experience includes MIL-STD-1553 and MIL-STD-188.
• Preferred experience includes adopting or integrating emerging technologies such as generative AI, automation platforms, or digital assistants into daily operations for continuous improvement.

• We support the design and development of embedded software solutions for communications products.
• We develop and maintain unit tests to help ensure the reliability and robustness of both new and legacy systems.
• We collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate embedded systems and networking components smoothly.
• We work closely with system architects and technical leads to strengthen and improve overall software architecture.
• We support the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment in a secure environment.
